Kai XR is launching a new Special Education Pilot (grades 5 & 6) to learn how we can best support students with IEPs—and we’d love for you to join.
Educators continue to share that Kai XR’s multi-sensory, literacy-rooted lessons in STEM and career-connected learning make a real difference for students with IEPs—boosting confidence, focus, and comprehension.
We’re now inviting 10 teachers to join our SPED pilot and help us deepen that impact so we can better support students, no matter how they learn.
Teachers, to participate, please submit the enrollment form by October 8, 2025.
We’re looking for 10 elementary SPED teachers who teach 5th or 6th grade, as well as educators who support 5th and 6th grade students with IEPs in inclusion settings. (2 teachers per school encouraged).
Pilot teachers will commit up to 3 hours over a period of 6 weeks. This includes attending a 60-minute virtual orientation, implementing Kai XR lessons with students, and providing feedback to the Kai XR team and researchers.

Pilot teachers have flexibility between October 13 and November 14 to implement five Kai XR Adventures with their students. Each Adventure averages around 30 minutes and is flexible across STEM, ELA, and science classes.
For their time and effort, each participating teacher will receive up to a $600 stipend after the completion of key milestones including:
