Introduction

You see trash floating in the ocean, smoke covering the air, and animals struggling to survive in their habitats. What if YOU could help solve this problem? Scientists and engineers are already working on ways to keep our planet clean. Here, we'll explore how scientists are taking care of the oceans, and clean up the ocean in our Makerspace activity.

Now, let's dive in and explore the scientists working to protect the ocean and corals from pollution with a virtual field trip to the Great Barrier Reef.

Take a dive underwater and see the work done to protect the Great Barrier Reef and all the species that live there.  

Click Explore Now. Then, click and drag the screen to explore the ocean all around you.

Makerspace

Makerspace Challenge: For a Cleaner Ocean

Try your hand at cleaning the ocean.

Click on the trash assets and Delete them to clean up the ocean.  

Once you're done, click Play button on the top right to explore the Makerspace ocean. Click the camera button to switch from Point & Click, First Person View, and Third Person View modes.
