We are thrilled to share our recent collaboration with 8 Million Stories on their Sons of Promise initiative, sponsored by The Rotary Club of Houston, Texas. Our shared goal was to enhance digital literacy and provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore emerging technologies and career pathways.
The world is changing rapidly, and our education system must keep up with the pace of innovation. Incorporating Metaverse programming into your curriculum is an excellent way to prepare students for the future and equip them with the 21st-century learning skills they need to succeed.
We designed our custom curriculum to demystify the Metaverse, 360° videos, and AR & VR technologies to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of these technologies. Through hands-on projects, students also gain various skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
During the program, students aged 9-14 years old, 97% of whom were black or brown, explored and practiced the application of Metaverse technologies and career pathways with Kai XR's CREATE-a-thon. This hands-on approach allowed students to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios, giving them a deeper understanding of how professionals utilize emerging technology in various industries.

We are proud to report that 89% of students believe the program helped them learn more about the Metaverse, 360° videos, AR & VR, while 77% felt proud about what they could create using these technologies.
